why join the seedlings programme?
The Seedlings Programme brings joy and pride to schools and works best when embraced by the whole school community. As it is accessible to pupils of all ages and abilities, what was once an unused or ignored area of your school could become a source of happiness, health, and even food! We turn learning inside out, giving children access to fresh air and practical lessons that work alongside the National Curriculum.

How It Works:
We will visit your school to explore potential garden areas and discuss your vision for the space and the learning experience. Your school will be assigned a Seedlings Educator who will visit weekly to conduct gardening and maintenance activities, offer class lessons for up to 8 students, provide SEN interventions (either one-on-one or in small groups), and an after-school club.
Whilst we provide seeds, some plants, and tools, schools are expected to provide basic equipment and materials. To achieve results, it's crucial to include dedicated garden maintenance time in every package, allowing our staff to make progress! Additionally, it's essential for the entire school community to take ownership and support the program, ensuring the garden is cared for and watered throughout the week when we are not present.
